Course Content

• First Aider Role: Delve into the duties and responsibilities of a first aider, emphasizing the significance of respecting privacy and consent, and adhering to the scope of their training.
• Incident Assessment: Learn effective strategies for evaluating emergency situations, securing safety, and understanding the incident to decide on an appropriate response.
• CPR and AED Training: Engage in practical learning in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for both adult and pediatric cases.
• Handling Unresponsiveness: Understand how to manage an unconscious individual, including the implementation of the recovery position and seizure management.
• Choking Management: Learn to identify and manage choking incidents in both adults and children.
• Wound and Bleeding Control: Explore various wound types and their management, utilizing bandages and first aid tools to manage bleeding.
• Shock Management: Identify and handle the symptoms of shock effectively.
• Minor Injury Treatment: Learn to treat minor injuries, including small cuts, bruises, and minor burns or scalds.
