Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an essential training programme designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to recognise and respond effectively to signs of mental illness and emotional distress. The engaging curriculum teaches participants how to approach and support someone in a mental health crisis—such as experiencing suicidal thoughts, an anxiety attack, or substance misuse—until professional help becomes available or the crisis is resolved.
The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) is a prominent accreditation organisation for first aid training, with its courses recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE). Our first aid at work courses are accredited by the FAIB.
The Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO) represents over 400 first aid training providers across the UK. Being a FOFATO member indicates that a training provider meets a high level of due diligence in terms of training standards.
Registering with an Ofqual awarding organisation such as Qualsafe guarantees that the training you receive meets the highest standards, and that the qualifications we provide are government-approved and nationally recognised.
We guarantee the best value First Aid Course with FAIB-approved first aid training in Manchester.
